The Library accepts gifts and donations of many varieties. Memorial books, Adopt-An-Author program, monetary donations to the Library itself or to the Friends of the Library or the Library Foundation. The Library also accepts gifts of used books and magazines.
You can "adopt" your favorite author at the Library. To "adopt", you agree to purchase one copy of each title by your specific author for one year. The books are purchased at library cost, usually a 40% discount! You may renew your adoption year after year if you wish.
The benefits of adopting an author are great! You will get the privilege of being the first to read the title, your name will be put onto a book plate for the title, and you greatly enhance the Library's collection.

The Birthday Club is a way you can honor children's birthdays. You purchase a book (at library cost and approval) and a bookplate is placed in the book with their name and birth date. The child's name is then place on the Birthday wall for the current year. At the end of the year all honorees will be invited to a birthday party sponsored by the Library! The Library welcomes donations for materials in memory of or in honor of individuals or businesses. Bookplates are placed in the book and notification is sent to the family of the deceased or the honoree on request.
Monetary gifts to the Library may be made at any time. Gifts are used to purchase materials and provide programming. Monies are spent with prior approval of the Library Board of Trustees. Donations may be mailed or dropped off in person at the Library.
the Library accepts gifts of used books and Magazines. Materials that meet the Library's needs and are in good condition will be added to the collection. Items that do not meet the Library's criteria are given to the Friends of the Library for their annual book sale.
Items may be brought in at any time the Library is open. The Library Staff is not qualified to determine the value of your items, but we can confirm the items donated.
