Nonfiction for Everyone
Finding nonfiction that all types of readers can enjoy is a challange. Recently, I am happy to say, it has gotten easier. Here are some nonfiction titles that have gotten rave reviews not only from reviewers, but from our own community members as well.
Little Princes by Conor Grennan. An interesting look at orphanged children of Nepal. What began as an adventure for the author turned into a personnal mission to help children through what seems like insurmountable odds.
Unbroken by Laura Hilldebrand. This is not just another WWII survival story. Through careful research and vivid text Hilldebrand gives you a survival story that feels like it is being told by your own grandfather. You will not want to miss this! Author of Seabiscuit.
A Garden of Beasts by Erik Larson. Soon to be released April 2011, a new book by the author of Devil in the White City. A fascinating look at the life of the American Ambassador in Hitler's Germany.
