I appreciate the library users who take the time to come and talk to me about collections, about the website or ideas for new things to add to the library. Not only do these conversations help to decide materials to put into the library, what new services we need to add, but what people think of changes that the library is making. I also get the opportunity to explain why we purchase what we do, why we don't do certain things, why changes have been made and overall explain what is generally going on in our library world. There are multiple ways for library users to "talk" to me. I like face to face best :), but don't forget commenting on this blog and Facebook. (Please become a fan on Facebook!) Be aware we still like to have every user leave with a great book!
