Rooms

The West Liberty Public Library offers two meeting spaces to the public.

  • Melick Conference Room - large meeting space, capacity: 40
  • Betty Akers Study Room - small meeting space, reserved capacity: 6, drop-in capacity: 4

West Liberty Public Library reserves the right to cancel bookings at any time if an event with a higher priority needs to take place during the same time. Booking holders will be notified of any changes.

 

Fees

The library does not charge for the use of its public spaces, with specific exceptions.

Room use charges will be applied for specific events, for setup/cleanup beyond what we provide, and for excessive mess or damage. PLEASE SEE MEETING ROOM POLICY FOR SPECIFICS!

 

After Library Hours

After-hours reservation applications will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis. If accepted, they will require a $100 deposit, as well as a $100 hourly fee.
